House Rules

(Pretty straightforward stuff.)

We're excited to be able to share our cottage with you and hope you have a fantastic week on the beach! If you have any issues during your stay, please contact us.

Below are the rules for Days’ Cottages. For the sanity of all guests, these rules apply to all of the cottages.

----------------

1. Checkout time is 10:00 AM. Check-in time is 3:00 PM. My sister Adrianna who lives in Provincetown takes care of cleaning the cottage between guests. She needs adequate time to make sure the cottage is cleaned for the arriving guests. As much as we’d like to allow for late checkouts or early check-ins, we need time to make sure that Daisy is spic and span.

2. Absolutely, positively no smoking in the cottage!

3. No pets. All Truro beaches are private except where posted. We don't allow strangers or pets on the beach. Please notify us if you are being disturbed by pets or unauthorized persons.

4. Music - Please be mindful of the other cottage owners and guests by keeping your music and television volume at a respectful volume

5. Parking - Please park your vehicles side by side. Any extra vehicles or boats should be parked in the sand lot across the street.

6. Trash - There is a trash key on the hook above the counter. Please empty your trash in the garbage container on the left side of the parking area.

7. Television & Internet - If you choose to bring your own television, please keep the volume at a respectful level. And you’re only allowed to cheer for the following teams: Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins.

8. Please return furniture to its original position.

9. Please do not take indoor furniture outside.

10. Beach fires are permitted on the lower beach as long as the wind is blowing out over the water. In order to have a beach fire, you must obtain a beach fire permit. Beach Fire Permits may be obtained by calling the Truro Fire Department at (508) 487-7548.

11. Outside awnings are permitted on the lower beach, but must be dismantled and taken down before leaving the beach at the end of the day.

12. Please keep the screen doors closed during the day, except for loading and unloading.

13. Please do not leave any broken items of yours behind.

14. No fireworks or sparklers! As much as we love to celebrate with fireworks, the state of Massachusetts doesn’t allow fireworks.
